1. Gale force W to SW winds(35kt or 65 km/h) are expected between
Cape Point and Cape Agulhas on saturday(30th), spreading to east
London on sunday(31st) afternoon. It will moderate from the west on
Sunday.
2. Very rough to high seas in excess of 5m are expected between
Cape Point and Cape Agulhas by saturday(30th) night, spreading to
east London and northwards to Alexander Bay by sunday(31st)
afternoon.

wind : S to SW 10 to 20.
Vis : poor in fog patches.
Sea state: 2 to 2.5m, SSW swell.
Walvis Bay to the Orange River:
wind : S to SW 10 to 15 but NW 10 to 20 in the south.
Vis : poor in fog patches.
Sea state: 2 to 2.5m, SSW swell.
Orange River to cape agulhas:
wind : NW 15 to 25, reaching 30 south of Cape Point.
Vis : good, becoming poor in rain between cape Columbine and
Cape Agulhas by Friday night.
Sea state: 3 to 4m but 4 to 5m south of Cape Point during the first
half of the period, WSW swell.
Cape Agulhas to east london:
wind : W to NW 15 to 25 but W to SW 15 to 25 in the east, where
it will become NE 15 to 25 by Friday evening.
Vis : good, becoming poor in rain in the extreme west by Friday
night.
Sea state: 3.5 to 4.5m, becoming 2.5 to 3.5m by Friday evening with
SW swell.
East London to Maputo:
wind : NE 20 to 30 in the north at first, otherwise S to SW 15
to 25, becoming NE 15 to 25 by Friday evening.
Vis : good.
Sea state: 2.5 to 3.5m, becoming 2 to 2.5m by Friday night with SSW
swell.
Mozambique channel:
wind : se to E 10 to 20 but N to NE 10 to 20 in the west.
Vis : good but moderate in showers in the North.
