At 232 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, capable
of producing winds to around 30 knots. These thunderstorms were
located along a line extending from 17 nm east of Sunny Isles to 14
nm east of Cape Florida to Pacific Reef, moving northeast at 15
knots.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots and locally higher
waves. Boaters should seek safe harbor immediately until these storms
pass.

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.

* WHERE...A portion of southeast Florida, including the following
areas, Coastal Broward County, Coastal Miami Dade County, Coastal
Palm Beach County, Far South Miami-Dade County, Inland Broward
County, Inland Miami-Dade County, Inland Palm Beach County, Metro
Broward County, Metro Palm Beach County and Metropolitan Miami
Dade.

* WHEN...Until 8 AM EDT this morning.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- One final band of rainfall moving across southeast Florida
early this morning could drop an additional 1 to 2 inches of
rain across already saturated soils, which could exacerbate
the risk for flooding through 8 am today.
