...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS OVER THE WATERS... The areas affected include... Biscayne Bay... Coastal waters from Deerfield Beach to Ocean Reef FL out 20 NM... Waters from Deerfield Beach to Ocean Reef FL from 20 to 60 NM excluding the territorial waters of Bahamas... At 232 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. These thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 17 nm east of Sunny Isles to 14 nm east of Cape Florida to Pacific Reef, moving northeast at 15 knots. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots and locally higher waves. Boaters should seek safe harbor immediately until these storms pass. &&
