...FLOOD ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 115 AM EDT FRIDAY... * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...Portions of Wayne, Fayette, and Union counties in Indiana. * WHEN...Until 115 AM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 946 PM EDT, local law enforcement reported minor flooding in the advisory area, with a couple roads closed in Wayne County. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... Dublin, Cambridge City, Williamsburg, East Germantown, Hagerstown, Economy, Bentonville, Jacksonburg, Connersville, Centerville, Glenwood, Franklin, Waterloo, Bunker Hill, Milton, Greens Fork, Mount Auburn and Beesons. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding.
