* WHERE...The far southern Texas Panhandle, the Rolling Plains, and
a majority of the South Plains region of West Texas.

* WHEN...From 5 PM CDT this evening through Saturday morning.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Multiple rounds of thunderstorms are expected this evening
through late tonight. Thunderstorms are expected to move
relatively slowly, and will be capable of very high rain
rates. This combined with repeated training of storms over
the same locations may result in flash flooding.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action
should Flash Flood Warnings be issued.

If you encounter a flooded roadway, turn around, don't drown. Most
